I am committed to the support that the Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy model provides me in my work with couples. However, I feel fortunate to be able to rely on the integrative Counselling model that I studied, namely Person-centred, Gestalt, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, the Systemic model, and Mindfulness practices.
In 2021, I successfully completed Level One of the Internal Family Systems therapy training, and in 2022 I successfully completed Level Two of the Internal Family Systems therapy model for couples, which is known as ‘Intimacy from the Inside Out’ (IFIO).
in 2023, I successfully completed my training to be an Erotic Blueprint Sex Coach with Jaiya.

2022: Awarded Certification by the International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy – Ottawa, Canada.

I have spent 38 years actively exploring Being Present in the Here and Now first within the traditions of Mindfulness [10 years] and Vajrayana [24 years now].
I have experienced a total of 13 years of personal therapy and three years of couples therapy.
For 11 years I have been giving talks under the theme of “How Love Works” both alone and in association with my friend and colleague Dr Roberta Bennett.
I regularly set aside time for my own continuing professional development, and I undertake extensive monthly supervision for both as an individual and in a group setting.
